In the Cleveland Hungarian Museum. Come and enjoy an afternoon of deeply moving, poignant and hauntingly beautiful poetry as we watch and listen together in the Museum to the virtual presentation from Hungary by Dr. Judit Havas.
This hour-long performance will be in Hungarian and include a medley of poetry and literature readings from lesser known poets of the 1950s whose lives and poetic works were deeply influenced by the turbulent and repressive times in Hungary.
Those in attendance in the Museum will have the opportunity to virtually comment and ask questions of Dr. Havas at the end of the lecture.
Stay and enjoy coffee and refreshments in good company following the presentation.
Suggested donation: $10 for adults and $5 for students.
This program will not be directly available via Zoom to others not in attendance in the Museum.
The program will be recorded and will be made available on our website at a later date after the presentation.
The Museum will be open from 1 – 4 pm. Lots of time to look around at our new exhibit “35 Years of Exhibits,” see our permanent exhibits, and to visit our Gift Shop.
